Summer People
3 journalers for this copy...
It is a while since I read this book, which was highly recommended by my sister. It is not one of Marge Piercy's science fiction books, it is an exploration of the nature of the relationship between three people, two women and an man. A good summer read with interesting twists.
i was in the college picking up some papers to mark and came across the book and thought "what a novel idea" - no pun intended. i plan to read the book and perhaps leave it on the subway one day on my way to work - it's surely to get to the other end of the city!

CAUGHT IN TORONTO ONTARIO CANADA
I just finished the book this evening. It was supposed to be my "occupier" as I travelled to work each morning and home each afternoon, but Piercy writes so that you do not want to put the book down. It is a solemn tale of three people and the family they share and provides a humbling reflection of real-life relationships.
This is a must read for those that need to "get back into it" and re-evaluated their own relationships and the delicate strings that sustatin or corrupt them.
Since the book has kept me wonderful company these past few weeks, I will release it tomorrow morning at Bathurst Station for it to await its next eager reader.
