"Hang Those Bastards Now!"

The headline of one now-ownerless Tory tabloid - the bastards in question being the four men who'd allegedly committed four murders in the course of a burglary. Along with his wife and two bodyguards, Roland Voss, the tabloid owner and millionaire media mogul, has had a country weekend in Perthshire cut short by a cut throat.

Investigative journalist Jack Parlabane wasn't too upset by this news - he had first-hand experience of his muscular methods. Bur suggestions that Voss might have been whacked on purpose pique Parlabane's nose for a conspiracy. And he's not the only one who thinks the accused might be innocent...

Fiendishly constructed, with dialogue as sharp as the plotting, 'Country Of The Blind' brilliantly reveals a world of danger and deceit, murder and betrayal, where defence is not a legal game but a fight for your life. A world that Jack Parlabane knows well.

Firstly an apology. I didn't journal this book when it arrived. Things were a little hectic at the time and I'm just getting an even keel now.

Thank you Beqi for this book, I am just about to start reading it. I need a bit of light black humour, if there is such a thing, at this moment in time.
