I picked this up as the cover has a quote from Simon Callow saying it's one of the funniest things he's ever read... all I can suggest is that Simon Callow reads more books!
An interesting read, but it didn't quite go anywhere. A reasonable foray into a difficult subject - the coming of age of a boy as he comes to terms with his homosexuality. There is humour, but not in the abundance I was expecting.
