Taking this book to the not so mini bookcrossing meet tomorrow.

I've read Affinity by the same author and some one told me this is better. I'm a bit frightened by the size of it as I don't have time for big books right now, but couldn't resist picking it up.

I've just promoted this to the top of Mt TBR as I see it's going to be on TV next week and I want to read it first!

Journal Entry 5 by ozone-nut from Yelverton, Devon United Kingdom on Saturday, July 14, 2007
So I didn't manage to read it before watching the TV version (which was very good). I thought if I hung on to it for a bit the TV version might fade in my mind and I'd be ready to read the story. Several years later and that hasn't happened yet so I thought I'd send the book on a little trip across the channel instead.

The book arrived on the other side of the Channel today. Thanks ozone-nut for this RABCK. I will add your name to my Hall of Fame on my bookshelf ;-)

I only read "Tipping the Velvet" a while ago, quite liked it, put this on my wishlist as I wanted to read more by Sarah Waters to get a better impression of her works.

It may take a while before I get to this one as MTBR is high and besides, I'm moving house in September to yet another country (Belgium), but I will get back here when I have and see to it that the book will be passed on in a Bookcrossing manner.

Finished this just before moving this week. I have one box of books that's still open I can add it to.

An enjoyable read to relax with in between packing. I liked it better than "Tipping the Velvet"; a little less predictable, with nice unexpected plot twists.

It will start traveling with me to Belgium day after tomorrow, but apart from that, I'll see to it that afterwards it continues its Bookcrossing travels somehow as well. Thanks again.

When I saw this link in the Dutch forum, I decided to add some of the pictures of author's studies and workplaces to journal entries of their books.

Look, this is where this story was born
