Breeni NC
bodesoda NC
Megi53 Virginia

Scout-finch California

Please PM the next participant to get their address. Try to keep the box no longer than 2 weeks. This box is only for chapter books that boys age 6-10 would be interested in. Please no Babysitter's Club type stuff or young children's picture books. Make sure to put in the same number of books that you take out. There should always be 33 books in the box (that number includes the journal). Please keep the journal with the box as it travels. Have your child write, draw, or do both in the journal. My son would love to see that. The main purpose of the journal is help participants keep track of the box's where-abouts, so register the journal when you recieve the box and release it when you pass on the box. Please state which books you are taking out and what you are putting in in the journal entry. Thanks and enjoy the box!

Journal Entry 6 by Megi53 from Danville, Virginia USA on Saturday, March 5, 2005
This is a very nice journal! I like jsport's, Dallas' and Xander's pictures.

The "y" is off the front cover -- our family is taking a trip to Chapel Hill in a few minutes and we're going to a craft store, so I'll be sure to look for an appropriate replacement.

We chose the bookmark with the green tassel! Thanks for including them.

Looking forward to having my son and some boys from my morning reading group add pictures and stickers.

Journal Entry 11 by guinaveve from Mason, Ohio USA on Thursday, May 19, 2005
Thanks to all of you who have participated in our bookbox. I am so pleased with how smoothly it went and would be thrilled to have each of you in any boxes I do in the future.
I want to add that Scout-finch and her son where the last to have the box, they just forgot to journal. I sent a PM inviting her to journal it whenever she has time if she desires.
I have enjoyed looking through the journal for the box. My son, who is not home from school yet, will be thrilled to go through both the box and the journal.
We are sure to do another box, same theme, in the future. I will let you all know when I start this up again, in case you are interested. I will include this same journal in the box as there is plenty of room for more creativity inside.

Journal Entry 12 by SCOUT-FINCH from Sherman Oaks, California USA on Thursday, May 19, 2005
Oh, gosh, I'm a dope, I never did journal our selections or the books we took out - I think it was about a dozen and as I can recall, there were very few books left from jsport's original Box, which is always a good thing!
We would absolutely love to be part of another Boys Bookbox - maybe for a Summer Reading treat?
This box gives me hope that legomeister's No Goosebumps Kids' Bookbox will come home safely with lots of goodies; big thanks to jsport and guinaveve for letting us play!!

Journal Entry 13 by guinaveve from Mason, Ohio USA on Tuesday, May 24, 2005
