Another classic that might be read, at some point in time. Found from the recycling centre.

I'll release my Finnish copy now that I've got an English one.

On this stormy and gloomy rainy day, I defied the faith and found my way to BC-meeting.

Kiitos. Thank you.

The reader of today maybe experiences the book differently than the reader of the 18th century.
It itsn't such a shock in 21th century, but I didn't actually enjoy it either. Too much sex.Yuck.

The book seems quite romantiziced. Perhaps because it was written by a man. Is it then less believable?
Being a prostitute in the 1700's couldnt have been so much fun, but it is implied in this book that Fanny Hill actually enjoyed it.

She is a 15-year-old girl who arrives in London with no where to go and no money. She ends up being a prostitute, but very early in the story she meets the love of her life, who is then taken away from her...etc.

It it interesting to read a book that was written so long time ago. Though I skipped some parts of it, because I couldn't stand the sex descriptions.

Reserved to Jaakko196, who won the book from my RABCK.
