DreissM I also wish you could deliver in person. Someday maybe.
The good news is that the book arrived yesterday 4th March.
The bad news is that I've almost finished it! There are books that you just wish were thicker, or would expand as you got nearer the end. This is one.
I've not yet read enough of Robert Parker's books to recognize all the characters he has collectd to help in this task but they all sound as if they've appeared in other books. The words Parker uses to describe the guys are minimalistic but succinct - you can pretty well see the guys. Good stuff. I've had to stop reading to make it last a bit longer.
Thanks for thinking of me.

DreissM I finished this book and thoroughly enjoyed it. I offered it to one of my bookcrossing friends but didn't get a response in time to prevent me from sending it down to FutureCat in Christchurch to take part in the NZ Bookcrossing Convention being held over Easter. Couldn't go myself but have sent around 12 books to make my presence felt down there. I hope someone really appreciative "finds" this. I will definitely be watching out for this author in future.
Arrived today in a big box of books for the NZBC Convention. Thanks Sherlockfan, and wish you could be here.
One week to go!!!
