A Thoroughly Modern Woman
Victoria Desmond is incensed to find her eccentric employer, billionaire Walter Harrington, has secretly transported them both back to 13th-century England. But things go from bad to worse when her boss is kidnapped, and Victoria, a newcomer in a bygone world, must figure out how to save him. Though she is more than capable in her own time and place, Victoria has no idea how to survive in the Middle Ages—let alone rescue Walter from a deadly knave like Sir Ranulf of Darkvale. Didn't expect a TT. Hmm, can't wait. Thanks.
A very nice time-travel story with very interesting characters. What worked against a 10 was the fact that the protagonists fell in love almost instantly, and ,secondly, when the whole time travel truth came out the medieval ones accepted it rather calmly.Nevertheless, the book is a treat. I higly recommend it.
