Yet another new Cozy Mystery series for me - and complete with little goodies/pictures - what a nice personalizing touch! I am definitely checking out TheFerretStore.com!

It's weird - I liked this book, but I kept putting it down. I'd go a few days without reading it, I'd pick it back up, skip a few more days. But while I didn't really find the mystery compelling, I thought it was well written stylistically - intelligent, not too cutesy (my standard complaint about Cozies).
I would try another in the series to see if it was just my mood. I'm definitely grateful to have the opportunity to try a series I wasn't familiar with!

I keep running into books that DreissM and SCOUT-FINCH have read - do you both read the same books I do? *g* That said, this one is here and I have two other Amanda Pepper mysteries on my TBR shelves. Maybe they'll make their way into a bookbox to you, S-F. This one could be a while until I get to it, but it's here!
