I am a great fan of this author, and have read most of her books. I particularly admire "The Sculptress", an outstanding example of psychological suspense writing. So, it pains me to admit that "Disordered Minds" is far from her best.
This story of two strangers brought together because of their interest in solving a thirty year old murder is over long and moves at an almost leisurely pace. I found it hard to become really interested in any of the characters; although each of them is given an intriguing background, none of them "lived" for me.
It is still a good read, just don't expect too much this time around.
