Synopsis
The spellbinding new novel of love and friendship from the Number One bestselling author of THE READING GROUP 'I think you can look at a woman, or talk to her, or listen to her, for five minutes or so, and you know how she'd behave in that situation, and once you have figured that out, you know pretty much what she's going to be like in any situation.' They meet at university in the heady days of the 80s: four women with little in common but an eagerness to live life to the full. And over romantic crises, long gossipy nights and too many bottles of wine, they form the Tenko club and swear they'll always be there for each other. Twenty years later, that promise is put to the test.

Received today from redhouse. Looking forward to reading this as I enjoyed this author's first book.

Quite enjoyed this; I think it would be an excellent choice to read on holiday or anytime you don't want to have to concentrate too much! It's the usual chick-lit fare but there are enought twists and turns to keep you interested. I like the fact that the characters are thirty somethings rather than twenty somethings - the addition of husbands, children etc adds depth to the story. On balance I think I preferred her first book, if I had read them both without knowing I would have guessed that this came first as The Reading Group seems more polished to me. Thanks for sending it to me redhouse. Will send it on its way in due course.

Passed this on to a friend who lives in Grove, near Wantage, Oxfordshire. She is not a registered bookcrosser (yet!) but she does leave books for others to find so this book will probably end up in the wild in the not too distant future!
