If you liked "The Shawshank Redemption," you will be engrossed by Henri Charriere's tale of his imprisonment during the '30s and '40s, first in French Guiana, and later on the infamous Devil's Island. This true story, with embellishments I have no doubt, reveals man's cruelty and injustice, but more important, our ability to retain our spirit and to survive--usually with a little help from our friends.

I was very excited to become a part of this concept. Always loving books, it seems like a great idea. I found it on a bench while walking the river trail off Hilltop Drive (in case this is of interest).
