This continuation of Father Tim and Cynthia's story was up to par with the others. Father Tim is feeling overshadowed by his wife's success in her career and his idleness in his retirement. He isn't as diligent about monitoring his diabetes, so he slips into a diabetic coma. Facing his own mortality, he awakes from his coma with a sharper view of his purpose in life, and in a deep depression. It's interesting how he comes to terms with this and becomes healthy again.
I just found out that the final book of this series, the conclusion that ties up all the loose ends, is called Light From Heaven, and will be released in November 2005. I look forward to finding out how everything I've read up till now finally comes together.
