Taking this to the Nottingham meet-up on 19/2/05 for YowlYY
Many thanks for this :-) I will read and pass it on as suggested, but it could take some time...!
As it's such a busy time for me, I am giving it "on loan" and fulfilling a wish list as well: please read it in your own time - no rush to return it :)

Ave Maria and Jack's daughter Etta is growing up, and this brings a whole new set of challenges to life.
Why is it that although I can see quite a bit of me as a teenager in Etta, as the parent of teenagers myself I have full sympathy with Ave Maria? Do I have to add those dreadful words, prehaps my mother was right?
The book had quite an open ending, which works well. I suspect most readers would have a good idea which way life will take Ave Maria and Jack next and having that decision revealed would ruin the ending and turn it into another beginning.
Thank you for sharing these books with me YowlYY!

This too has returned to its temporary home after a brief journey - thanks for shipping it back!
Just like its companion, it will be returned to my TBR bookshelf in the hope to start reading it soonish.

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:
It has been a while since this book has been with me, but like with many other books it was overlooked and now my reading taste has changed. In an attempt to reduce my TBR pile, this is going to be left free to find a more deserving reader.
