Picked this up when I took a few books to the cafe
This is the earliest registered book in my possession and I finally read it - sorry it took so long BUT IT WAS WORTH IT!!
It is very well written and keeps your interest in. I even shed a few tears. It is mainly set in a POW in Germany near the end of the war with conflict and friendship on all fronts.

Caught today at Green Sage Cafe in Templestowe. I see it has been travelling for almost 10 years, will send it on its way again after I have read it.
This is a well written, compelling read. Somewhat raw in parts it deals with the burden of guilt, racial tension and murder. Worth reading.
