"King Lear" is to be my first Shakespeare release, but through BookCrossing I plan to seed the world with Shakespeare. Yes, I'll be a Shakespeare Johnny Appleseed!
"Johnny Appleseed's dream was for a land where blossoming apple trees were everywhere and no one was hungry. A gentle and kind man, he slept outdoors and walked barefoot around the country planting apple seeds everywhere he went.
"Johnny was a friend to everyone he met. Indians and settlers - even the animals - liked Johnny Appleseed. His clothes were made from sacks and his hat was a tin pot. He also used his hat for cooking."
I notice a number of others here are releasing Shakespeare. Perhaps we who do so should get together in a forum.

Released on Saturday, August 31, 2002 at Orr Hot Springs in Ukiah, California USA.
Although the address is Ukiah, the place is actually twelve miles outside of town - west up in the hills. This is the exquisite Orr Hot Springs where in a little room with a bathtub filled with delicious warm mineral water - on a small wooden shelf just above the tub - I left "King Lear."
