I'm still reading this one. It's a departure from my normal genre, but so far, I've enjoyed it as much. The story is somewhat suspenseful, because one wants to find out what happens to Isabelle & what connection she & Ella have to each other. It is also a fascinating portrayal of life in the 16th century & the contrast with the modern world.
I caught this book & found out about Bookcrossing when doing some post Christmas sale shopping at Scottsdale Fashion Square. When the mall closes, I usually go to my favorite spot outside the fountain at Nordstrom to read & recharge with a cup of Starbucks. The book was sitting on the stone ledge of the fountain. At first, I was skeptical, but when I checked out the website & began reading the story, I was hooked.
When finished, I'll either release the book in a coffee shop or another mall, or keep it & release one of my own in its place.
