A collection of anecdotes and recollections about my home county which I hope will give some idea of life in England in the not-too-distant past, to a friend from overseas.

This book features the words of The Coventry Carol which is traditionally sung at the Christmas morning mass at our cathedral and almost never heard elsewhere.

What fun! I know what I shall be reading this Christmas!

I am intregued by the Coventry Carol...Send the music and maybe our choir can try it for next Christmas. (Mr Czuk is a glorious tenor, and our choir is really quite good.)

I shall duly note for other readers, should I let this book our of our household, the following forum post, public thank you and acknowledgement here that Netstation surprised the Queen of Stealth quite handily. ;-)

I've had this book far too long and am passing it along now to a friend. In the meantime, I shall be listening in the air for the Coventry Carol...

Forgot to say that the friend I am sending it to is coming to the 2008 Convention in London in april. Lucky girl. If I didn't love her so mush I'd be insanely jealous. Oh wait. I am.
