RELEASE NOTES:
bookcrossing picnic
Received in the mystery Christmas bookswap at the bookcrossing picnic today. I was disappointed that the blurb on the cover "A big day out for the Adams family" didn't actually refer to Morticia and Gomez, but I'll put it in my TBR pile anyway...

Well, I said I'd read it eventually, and I did. Unfortunately, I think I could have spent the time in better ways - a dull story that didn't particularly get anywhere (it was like watching just one episode part-way through a long-running soap opera - which, looking at the number of books in the series, is what it is), and not very well written (sample paragraph: "A person of the male gender watched a girl leaving the local library, a borrowed book in her hand. He'd come to know she visited the library most Saturday afternoons, as he did himself.")
Oh well, hopefully someone more appreciative will find it one day...

Thank you! Well, I've been warned by Futurecat's entry..I'll give it a go if I have time. I feel a bit frightened by the illustration of the odd couple on the cover. If not, it will probably be part of a big wild release on the North side of Sydney where we need some more Bookcrossers.
Again, I have no idea how I got this book. Possibly from the Dunedin Convention? I'm fairly sure that I never read it and that it has passed out of my hands. I'll fix this entry if it ever surfaces here again. :)

Butting in...A mystery how this one got to New Zealand. I have a vague recollection of wild releasing it. I know it lived in the boot of my car for a while. No idea why I didn't make release notes :-} Maybe I took it to a meetup??
