Idylls of the King (Penguin Classic)

I love most of Tennyson's work, but "Idylls of the King" is an exception. It's not the writing itself that bothers me but the theme: the legend of King Arthur, something I have little interest in. If I hadn't had to read this as part of the requirements for my graduate degree, I doubt whether I would have picked it up at all. Now that I'm older and hopefully wiser, I realize the value of the work and hope to someday pick it up again one day -- just to see....
