I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. As usual Bryce Courtney has written a page turner. I couldn't put it down once I had started it. Take good care of it!

received today from woosang as part of a relay. i have a few to read before it, but ill get to it asap. i love bryce courtney, so im sure, ill devour this one. its so big too!!thanks for including me woosang.
i was disappointed with this book. i adore bryce courtney. he's one of my fave authors, but i couldnt get into this book. about 3/4's of it is about the war, and i dont do wars. so instead of struggling to finish it (especially when i have so much to read) ill send it on to specialk. thanks for letting me join though woosang. at least i can say that i tried!
on its way to special-k.
This massive tome arrived Friday...I was hoping that it would be a bookrelay or book swap when I saw the size of it because I have so much to read atm. But I'll bump it to the top of Mount TBR and get this bookray moving as quickly as possible.

RELEASE NOTES:
Posted to Libragirl. I enjoyed the hundred or so pages that I read but just couldn't see myself finishing it without feeling pressured. If I had more time I would have enjoyed plowing through this intriguing story but for now it's on its was to Libragirl in NZ. Enjoy!

I really enjoyed this book, as I have all Bryce Courtenay's novels. I must admit though, the war section was hard going at times, but well worth the read. The images and characters were beautifully built and I really felt like Jack was telling the story, rather than Mr. Courtenay.
Will be on its way again shortly.
