When the final reader is finished with the book, he/she is free to do with it what he/she wants. I do encourage that the book keeps travelling, since that is what BookCrossing-books are destined to do :) Thank you!
* Please journal the book once when you receive it and once when you are done with it and it's about to leave your hands.
* Please PM the next person in line and send it off to them (Give the next reader a week to reply to your PM. If there's no reply, please PM me (so I can make a note in the list above) and then PM the next reader in line)
* If at all possible please try to read the book within 45 days (I don't care if it takes you longer to finish, but please PM me, so I won't worry)
* Most of all enjoy the book - - this is not a school assignment :)
I've arranged a ray for this book, and I'll ship it to Sobergirl in Finland later today :) I hope it'll have a safe journey and arrive soon.
I will read this asap and then pass it on to the next person on the list
Thank you MieLH for arranging the bookray!
I will mail the book to the next participant asap. I already have the address.
It is a bit sad that this is part of a bookring, as it is a book that I would love to go back to and read bits and pieces from over time. But then again I''m happy that it is a bookring so that more people can enjoy the wisdom og her writing.
I''ll get the book sent on as soon as I have Cross-patch''s address.
I am awaiting jubby's address.
And, I thought I might mention that I was at a book sale yesterday, and I picked up a copy of 'All God's children need traveling shoes'.
Now, would anyone be interested in that book?
I have been slow of late... Normally, I would just gobble up a book like this and have it in the post after a few days, but it was just nut meant to be this month.
Slow as it was, I did read this book, and enjoyed it. Short, snappy passages on various issues and topics.
I particularly liked the last two. And the one on poverty was very good too. Her advice is homely and sound, and you just want to squeeze her hand.
But, the essay on ex-husband the builder, who had also been married to Germaine Greer had me googling. Who could this man be? Do you think Paul Du Feu? I couldn't find a picture of him though...
Anyway, great book.
Now, I've sent a couple of PMs to Congestedchi and have not heard back. And, for some strange reason I can't sign into www.rabck.com at the moment, so can't check to see if her details are in there.
So, I PMed Kobe03 this morning.
Just waiting now to see who contacts me first for this book to continue its travels.
Thanks for sharing this book with me MieLH.
WILD RELEASE NOTES:
Posted off to Kobie03.
Perhaps MieLH could move Congestedchi further down the bookring list?
Still no answer from PMs to CongestedChi. The book is in the post tomorrow to dawni.
I've sent a PM to the next in line for the bookray and will put it in the mail as soon as I receive an address.
August 08- I'm SO sorry it's taken me so long to get to this! I've picked it up today and will have it moving again asap....many many apologies as I know how frustrating it is when a ring/ray stalls :0(
7/8/08 Have heard back, will be away from home till 11th or 12th but will pop in the post asap when I return!
15/8/08 Popped in post, happy reading!
Thank you Timber77. And thank you everyone for playing along. It's been a lot of fun to see the book travel :)
