The Blue Castle
1 journaler for this copy...
I purchased this book during a family vacation in Colonial Williamsburg when I was fifteen years old. It lay, forrgotten, in the bottom of my suitcase until I reached home, when I made the decision to pace myself and read a certain number of chapters a day.
The next day, I was home from school, sick, and finished the whole thing in a couple of hours.
I can't count the number of times I've read it in the past three and a half years. It's come with me to summer camp (being in my bag, along with a damp towel, accounts for its present condition), kept me company through some lazy summer afternoons, and saved my sanity during one hellish day last year, (which I spent as an exchange student, in Portugal)and desperately needed a distraction.
So to whoever finds it: Take care of my book. Read it, give it the love it deserves, and send it on its way. I'm interested in what you think.
