Just to provide a third language to the journal entries of this book, an entry in English. Of course, it's only a lame excuse for not having to write German, cos my German is rather rusty.

I don't know, michaelangelo, if it was a gamble to give me a German book, or an educated guess, but it's a hit anyway.

I used to read German regularly during and just after my school years. The last full German book I read was Patrick Süskinds 'Das Parfum'. By the way one of my favorite books of all time. After that, I never got around to it, but I do have a semi-secret wish to read a German book again in the near future. And look here! How perfect is this!!!
