The book was alright, I guess. Honestly I have not watched the original horror film, nor its remake. I was expecting to experience the chills in reading the book, but it was so bland. I was entertained, none the less, by its over used horror cliches that appear in just about every suspenseful story. Hopefully there is someone out there who will pick up this copy of the book and find it to be more enjoyable of a read than I have found it to be for myself.
