Dolores Price is unforgettable and Wally Lamb does a fine job taking us on a journey of her life in this novel.

I really liked this book. I will admit I think there were too many pages for the story, he seemed to get bogged down a few times there, but the story was compelling, I read it within a few days time, I had to keep reminding myself that it was not actually a true story! Hard to believe this is a male author!

Got this in the mail from another Bookcrosser on Friday 9/9 but did not have internet access until now. I started reading it over the weekend and already find myself engrossed in the story. I find myself liking the main character and wanting to know more about whatever is going to happen. Author tends to be wordy when painting the picture for the reader, but I am guessing that is so we better connect with the characters.

I'll write another journal entry upon finishing the book.

I enjoyed this book also, although I do have to agree that the story was a bit long and 'windy' for what it was...there were parts that just seemed to drag, but the main story kept my interest enough to make it through the slow part. Will be wild releasing this one today.
