I generally like Louise Erdrich, and this plot is compelling (from the back cover):

I personally roll my eyes at phrashes like "she meets Fidelis, and the ground trembles" Gag! But you never know - hopefully only the back cover blurb writer had a bad case of the Trite Phrases that day, and not the author!

This is an excellent book. I loved the character development and the ending was quite a surprise! Will definitely be reading more of Erdrich's work.

I started reading this today. I'm only 2 chapters in, but I can tell I will love it.

Excellent! I really enjoyed reading this and got lost in their world. I am going to wild release this in a great spot so that this book can continue to be read. Keep your fingers crossed that it gets journalled!
