Rec'd in today's mail. Thank you!
I remember this as a movie, along with The NeverEnding Story, watching at my cousin's house when I was very little. They were two of my favorites. I'm so glad I was able to get this book to read the story. I remember several scenes from it as a child. I thought the ending was perfect, that she returned to being a Unicorn, and all the Unicorns were freed. As an adult, I understand the tragedy involved in the love story that I missed as a child.
I am tempted to hold onto this book for awhile so my children can read it when they are the right age. It is a classic, in my opinion.
