Long Time Dead
3 journalers for this copy...
I don't usually like murder mysteries, but since I love Sheri Tepper (even when she is writing as A.J. Orde) I had to read them. And I did really enjoy them! I was sad when the series ended.
My Mom also read them and enjoyed them. Was even able to overcome the unkind portrayal of Catholics...
Next, Rainbowbabe will get these last three (she already ready the first ones which I will register when she gives them back). Then Akiree will get these.

I bet you thought I wouldn't remember to register this book (or any of them). Well, here I am - so there! :-)

It's funny - I have such a love/hate relationship with these books! Tepper is SUCH a good writer, she always draws me in with her character development. However, I don't think she is as good at mystery writing as she is at fantasy/sci fi. Sometimes her plot twists aggravate me because I don't always find them believable.
But, like I said, Tepper does know how to write, and I'll keep reading her mysteries (if RillabeeChime keeps supplying them
;-) just because I love the worlds she creates, whether they are fantasy worlds of her own invention or very believable fiction set in Colorado. I also like reading about the good food the characters eat and the cool furniture Jason Lynx deals with!

Received back from Rainbowbabe during my visit to be the "grandparent" for nephew Weiner Boy! To be mailed to Akiree soon!
Released to fellow bookcrosser Akiree in a USPS media mail release. Are you surprised yet Akiree?
A surprise RABCK from Rillabeechime! Thanks so much! Can't wait to read these.
These were great! Quick and lots of fun, with likeable yet realistic characters. I can't wait to read her other mystery series. Thanks again, Rillabeechime!
