The Women Who Broke All the Rules: How the Choices of a Generation Changed Our Lives

A really facinating book about the generation of women before me. The ones who were told by everyone the only carrer choices they had were nursing, teacher, secretary, and mother. By the time they reached college, they realized they had a whole world of opportunity ahead of them. Granted, there were still some ideas left over for my generation, but not like it was for the women who are about 10 years older than me. Really a great book about the coming of age in times of change and how the new rules for women changed lives.
The subject material of this book - one of a collection sent in an M-bag to Australia by jenndiggy - looks incredibly interesting to me. I haven't actually read much in this territory before, at least not in book / narrative form. Thanks jenndiggy!
