This book is a quick read and not that deep, with no real plot, but I very much enjoyed it for what it was - a diary of the rise and fall of a relationship through the infatuation and disillusionment stages. The early chapters, when the college freshman develops a crush on a graduate student teaching assistant, really took me back to college days, when all our emotions were so raw and right on the surface of our skin, and every emotion was just SO life and death, because we had felt so little real emotion as of yet in our lives. Remember when you'd go by the library just hoping to catch a glimpse of that certain someone, and seeing him or her would send you through explosions of emotion, but then you would pretend NOT to see him/her? This book will really take you back and bring a smile to your lips remembering that younger version of yourself.
