WOW! What a story, first I was very suspicious of this book, it's got so many pages, and the story didn't seem THAT interesting. I take it all back and say that I have been captured by this story with all the very interesting characters in it. The Hamiltons are based on real people, the Trasks are work of fiction.
One of the best books I've ver read!

There I was sitting in an old public toilet that has been converted into a pub. Taking a few photos and enjoying the company of my Finnish aunt and uncle. I started browsing the books - many on the topics of toilets - and came across several tagged with the bookcrossing notices. Sobergirl did an excellent job marking the books - front and back covers, inside and out plus an explanation of the process. I decided to take the "East of Eden" - well that was 4 days ago and I finished it this morning. And funny enough I have never read any of Steinbeck's books but I enjoyed this one so much that I will be picking up some of his other works.
This evening I will catch a boat to Stockholm and I will leave it there, or perhaps in a restaurant or coffee shop or give it to the cousin that I am going to meet. I had planned to take it on the plane to Germany and then to Canada but since I have finished reading it I thought it would be to release it into the wilds!
It was also good fun to see the photo that Sobergirl had put onto the website. Thanks so much. I enjoyed sharing the store and site with my relatives here in Nuuntali.
