I'm still reading this, but it's excellent - funny, informative and unmistakably Bill Bryson. I think this would be lovely to read for anyone, whether they're a language geek or not - but I'm biased, because I, definitely, AM a language geek.

I was kindly sent this book by Semioticghost as a book swap. I'm looking forward to reading it as I think Bill Bryson is great. I think it will appeal to my inner pedantic!
This is the first time I've received a BookCrossing book through the post. It was fun.

I'm not sure what the bookcrossing gathering was, but I think it was Diomedes that picked it up. He has now finished with the book, and put it in the 'ready to be released' pile.
