Picked this up at Powells. Vampire books aren't usually my thing, but this seemed more charming than most in the genre and apparently has a bit of a mystery novel to it as well.

Loved it!! Vampire novels usually aren't my "thing" but this one was so funny (and it had a great mystery aspect to it!) that I enjoyed it a lot. Sookie Stackhouse (the heroine) is a great character, and Bill the Vampire isn't too bad either. The author does a good job with character development, so that the reader really gets a sense of the characters. Overall, I liked this one so much I bought the next book in the series right away!
