A story of racism, compassion and fight for justice, told through the eyes of a young girl.
Reserved to syrin.
Classic american literature is on of those things I never had a chance to read in my degree, so I was really happy to have a chance to read this story.
I really liked it, even though at first I had a bit of a problem identifying with the characters. But Jem and Scout grew on me, and the setting was a big influence (I love stories set in the south).
This is both a tale of summer in the lives of children, and a story of racism, descrimination and the determination of some people to end it.
Thanks for the loan quico!
