Journal Entry 1 by kab113 from Troy, Ohio USA on Sunday, September 19, 2004
Truth be told, I received this book as part of a bookring but my son put an open bottle of water in my bag and it suffered a little bit of water damage. So I bought a new copy of the book for the bookring and kept this one for myself so it needs a new number. It's available for anyone who wants it. I realized I'm not really one for vampire stories. Yawn...

Just received in today's mail. I'll start reading it this evening and then get it in the mail to the next person!

Got this in the mail on 10/4 and finished it at 10:45pm the same evening. It was pretty funny. I didn't expect all that sex, but hey, vampires are *supposed* to be sexy, right? I think I might keep an eye open for the sequel, Undead and Unemployed. Thanks for starting this bookring, kab113!

Undead and Unwed has made it to Virginia!
(Has the book been in Florida? It looks like it's been in a flood!)

No flood -- it was damaged at the hands of a child! Read the first entry above :)

Well, I guess that I should read previous journal entries before I compose new ones. Maybe I can stay out of trouble that way. ;-)

Anyway, I started Undead and Unwed immediately after reading a Laurell K. Hamilton. A few pages into the book, I decided that Betsy was a pretty pitiful character compared to Anita Blake. After a few more pages, though, I started to like Betsy and see her and her world as completely different from Anita's. Undead and Unwed was a fun read and I enjoyed it. The book was quite funny at times. I can't understand Betsy's shoe fetish though. My husband actually has more shoes than I do. Most shoes hurt my feet so talk of Jimmy Choo fire red pumps didn't do a thing for me. Like countedx58, I look forward to reading the next book in the series.

Just received in the post yesterday. Have many ahead of it, "when it rains it pours", they all seem to have arrived at once. :-) Will get to it shortly.

What a fantastic read. Love it, read in one evening. Davidson's Betsy Taylor is witty and sharp. Humorous tale.

On to the next reader in Maine.

I am extremely sorry for the late journaling. I was stuck with school, had to read plato, aristotle, horce and other greek and mid-ages' philosophers. It was a nightmare - it's over now
*sighs*

I have read the book a while ago, loved it and hated it I guess. The humorous side was a bit 'cheesy' at times. Vampire side wasn't gory enough for my taste. But difinetely after having to read plato and all of them horrible philosophers, this was a good tread. Reserved, to be sent by this coming Monday.

Thanks, and sorry again
:-)
