This book was assigned reading for a Western Literature course I was taking at Rhode Island College years ago, but I never actually read it. I was in class during the discussions and I could tell that it was not my type of book. From what I remember it is a romance about a woman who cheats on her husband, but he is the one who is seen in a negative light. Adultery isn't my thing so I saw no reason to waste my time reading it. I thought that I would release this book into the wild because it is just collecting dust on my bookshelf and it is a classic so maybe there are other readers out there who will appreciate it.
