The Riddle of St. Leonard's
5 journalers for this copy...
of my favourite medieval mystery series.
On its way to MmeClinton in a trade.
I have received this book along with one other from PenguinSilja in Ireland.... what a great and swift surprise!!! I am much looking forward to the relaxation of curling up with it this summer! Merci, Silja!
I have really enjoyed this medieval mystery, the fifth Owen Archer mystery. I have not read the others (yet), but it did not make any difference for understanding this one. The plot is dense, and it took a while to straighten out some of the characters, but it wasn't long before I just didn't want to put it down. I have just offered this up on the Relay Index.
Arrived today. Thank you!

Just received. Thank you lauraloo29!
Another excellent Owen Archer mystery...solid plot, great characters that you'll remember for a long time, like Wulfstan, & faschinating view of England's medieval history, seen through 'contemporary' eyes & minds...
Thanks, lauraloo29

I Liked the book. it was excellent. The much loved Queen Philippa lies dying at Windsor and the plague has returned.
