Journal Entry 3 by Earthworm from Beeston, Nottinghamshire United Kingdom on Monday, November 29, 2004
This is my first experience of BC. Larkrise to Candleford has been on my list of wannareads for a long time. I started it some years ago and found it too slow, but in October, after a few contempory novels, it hit the right note. I've just acquired an allotment and the book seemed to have much to recommend a slower way of life. I am much in debt to the person who left the book and to those who chose not to read it. I would like to keep it, but that's not playing the game, is it?
