Interesting story about Lestat's quest to reclaim humanity, and the cost of such a quest. Not as compelling as the first 3 books in the series, but Lestat's character carries the tale well.

maybe it's 'cause i've discovered so many great new authors over the last few years, but anne rice seems to be feeling a little old to me. i'm planning to read the series again, and if it fails to float my boat, i'll do something about redistributing the ones i own.

it's time to let these heavily-damaged-but-no-less-readable anne rice books go. i've downloaded ebook copies, just in case i ever decide to revisit them. i hope that a prospective new owner won't leave these behind because of their rather unloved appearance...
