Classic Rosamunde Pilcher. If you an Anglophile (or, in this case, a Scotsphile), you'll love this story about the beautiful Highland farm Benchoile and the people whose lives cross under its influence. There's a selfish English writer and an adorable child, a beautiful woman and an American businessman, plus a score of wonderful Scottish characters. It's a quick read but images of the countryside will stay with you a long time.
