The strangeness of the human mind.Part of my attempt to clear out some of the book mountain.
Release planned for Monday, August 23, 2004 at Harp Cafe, Zion Health & Resource Centre, Hulme in Manchester, England United Kingdom.
Thanks for releasing this! I picked it up this afternoon at the Zion Cafe. Looking forward to reading and releasing it sometime soon. :-) I left your sticker from the front on one of the other books you released there in case you want to reuse it.
I finally read it constantweader! And I enjoyed it very much. I think back to when I picked this book up, I'm pretty sure it was the first (or one of the first) bookcrossing books I ever acquired. I've read bits of it over the past year, and finally finished it up a few weeks ago. It was a very provocative and interesting book, so much food for thought about how people's minds work, how scientists interact with their patients. The reports of the author are clearly somewhat dated, some patients illnesses that are clearly physically based and that would now be dealt with by surgery or other means were dealt with a shrug and coping strategies. Nevertheless there is still much value, I feel, in this book's consideration of mental illnesses. I hope to add a bit more to this but must now run off to dinner! Thank you A, miss you :-*
I'm going to pass this on to a friend's girlfriend who's expressed interest in reading it.
