I loved this book!
I may have not always liked Owen, sometimes he really made me mad but the story was wonderful. I learned so much about Vietnam I never knew because I was born near the end of it.

I don't believe what Owen's parents told him but I do believe that Owen was able to tell the future some what because of his dreams. I don't know why he chose to make sure the dream happened instead of runing from it. I guess he knew he had to be a hero.
John frustrated me also. He never trully grew up. He got a job but he never got over Owen. He held some much anger in him and he blamed a lot of it on the U.S. Well I am not saying the government doesn't deserve some anger but not all of it.

I know it's a good book when I take my time reading it. It took me 10 days to read this.
