This is a wonderful book, all about the life of Celie. She has some pretty dreadful times, but every so often something really amazing happens in her life. It's an absolute classic, and it's up for grabs.

I have heard a lot about this book and have wanted to read it for quite some time, so thank you very much bookfrogster
As bookfrogster said, it is a wonderful book. I couldn't put it down.
I cannot find the book at the moment. I read it in October in France, so it has possibly been an unintentional wild release! I'll leave the status as reserved for the moment until I have a really good look.

I found it!! I was unpacking a suitcase today and it was in a zipped pocket on the side. The suitcase has been used possibly half a dozen times since last October but today was the day I found it. I'll take it to the Unconvention and find it a good home.
Great. I haven't read this book for over 15 years and so am really looking forward to it. I am not promising when but shall release it afterwards.

My daughter left it lying around in the bathroom and I caught it. I loved it even more than when I read it years ago. A great story of overcoming unbelievable hardship and the ultimate happy ending! enjoy
