I read this book in high school (mandatory at the time - 90's in Ontario, Canada.). I remember it being well written but as a teenage girl, the crime did and still disturbs me.
I honestly forgot about this as a travelling book. I am now a part of Buy Nothing, a free-cycling group based on local connections. I was gifting this to a neighbour and read the inside label.
I used to be a Flight Attendant for WestJet Airlines and live in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. I guess I found it in the back pocket of the plane and saw I could take it. It then travelled with me back to my home province of Ontario, Canada when I moved. It has lived on my book shelf this whole while. It is now being passed on, projected release February 4, 2020!
