Dream Weaver

This book is a sequel to "Picture Maker", which I liked a lot, and I'd been looking forward to reading this one. I was somewhat disappointed- it was entertaining, but nowhere near the satisfying read I found "Picture Maker". This is the story of Ingrid, daughter of Picture Maker, and her Greenlander father and brothers. The characters just weren't as likeable, and the story was a bit dull at times. Good finish, though, but it seemed to take forever to get to it.
This book has found a new home, and I am releasing it with a tribute to my Dad, who has just passed on to the Spirit World. He was a Colville Indian and a voracious reader. I hope the next person to read this book really enjoys it.
This just arrived in the mail a couple days ago. Thanks so much, Chellis, for sending it! It's for my grandmother, she desperately wanted to read it, so I'll be sure to get her to write a review before I pass it along.
I have read Picture Maker and enjoyed it very much. Dream Weaver was even better. I hope to read more by Spinka. I am of Danish descent so enjoyed hearing of the Norsemen.
I am passing the book on to a friend. Then will share it on bookcrossing.
