This was the book I was using to determine "if my tastes had matured." I didn't much like it in 7th grade, sort of liked it in high school, then loved it in law school, as I realized I KNEW people like the Bennets! True the characters where caricatures, but I still knew people like that. It's great light reading, without feeling like you're doing light reading, as are most of Austen's books.
