Even if you accept the science fiction premise, it seems to me that too much depends on coincidence. Still, it's an enjoyable read.

Not a typical Louis L'Amour book - I admit I didn't finish it. Not that it was a bad book, I just prefer his "classic" works. This one had kind of a "supernatural" motif.
