"The most entertaining novel of 1991"..."Hiassen is the Mark Twain of the crime novel."

I won't take time to read this now; it was bought to trade with a Finnish bookcrosser for a book about her country. Enjoy!

Before I mailed this, I flipped through it to get an idea of Hiaasen's writing style. It really looked good! The part about a girl's bedroom decorated with a stuffed vole, and the hero's aside about what the Chinese factory workers must have thought as they assembled it shows he is a thoughtful and amusing writer as well as a thrilling one.
