IF you haven't read a Cat Who book, now is the time to start. The first three books of the series was written ages ago and this set up the tale. Then after serveral years Braun has been putting them out big time. They are a fast read, fun, even if you don't particularly care for cats. There is good morals, fun characters and always a mystery that actually plays second to the people.
Quilleran is the hero, the retired ex alcholic newsman who has found himself in a small town a gazillion miles from nowhere. He has inherited a fortune, which he uses to help the community for which he has become very fond.
